Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution
I wanted to check my mail before logging out and I clicked on the Send/Receive button. But instead of getting new messages, I lost most of my messages in the inbox. Before there was 100 messages and after the error only 15. Before installing 10.10 beta, I had no problems with my mail, so I'm guessing that the problem is with evolution. When the messages disappeared, there was small red hexagon with a white cross inside it at the bottom left which said something about an error. I clicked on it and a box appeared saying: Error while Refreshing folder 'INBOX'. Incomplete server response: no information provided for message 81 ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: evolution 2.30.3-1ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-21.31-generic 2.6.35.4 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-21-generic x86_64 Architecture: amd64 Date: Fri Sep 17 18:42:02 2010 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/evolution InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" - Beta amd64 (20100901.1) ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: evolution XsessionErrors: (polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1:1817): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_once_init_leave: assertion `initialization_value != 0' failed ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug maverick -- evolution: error refreshing folder 'INBOX' in 10.10 beta https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/641419 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
