The thing is if you do:
-F1
g
g
...you get the wanted result. Its related to how key strokes are
interpreted within the gnome menu. If you do:
-F1
s
..you'll get the "System" menu instead of "Sound and Video". "System" is
wrong. "Sound and Video" is right.

The only time I got it not to work was when I had the menu open already
then I did alt+f1, and each time that I repeat that same process I can't
get it to repeat now anymore. Sorry.
Maybe put up dmesg, lspci, syslog, etc?

Mine doesn't even move at all! Although in mine the g isn't underlined?
Not sure if that's normal, getting used to Gnome/X.
