I confirm applying the same procedures works for newer version of
CMapTools 4.07 released in October.

Fixed from the cmap FAQ - sorry I should have spotted this. It will help
with any install anywhere scripts though
The InstallAnywhere application that we use to install our programs has a known
issue that causes it to fail for some configurations using FC5. The procedure
to correct the problem

It's not open source but free and the best mind mapper I have ever come
across - really !!
