Here is a debdiff to disable festival as well as bring this up to the
latest debian revision from debian multimedia.

Actually scratch that last post - I should have looked closer at your
last backtrace. For now I think the solution is to just disable
festival support. I'll upload a debdiff later on.

I'm not convinced its that same issue yet, as that is a bit old (although I
haven't searched whether a fix was ever implemented for it yet). I have
locally recompiled in a pbuilder using debugging and this is a much more
specific backtrace (if anyone else is looking besides me):

I've verified this to occur on both amd64 and i386. I'm looking into it
to see if I can identify the cause.
