[10.10 beta] Rhythmbo
Same here. Upgraded from Ubuntu 10.04 to 10.10 (beta) amd64, and managed
Rhythmbox was not
playing any thing, and it was not even adding files to the reproduction list.
So, I disabled the plugin
"Ubuntu One Music Store", then now the player is working fine.

If you disable the "Ubuntu One Music Store" plugin, I can now import &
play MP3's.
