The problem did not disappear for me. It even worsened with the update
maverick -> natty. Kontact and other windows started to misbehave and
crash twice.
The bug is triggered by the selection of Settings - Configure Calender -
Date and Time - Holiday. I tried US and German as Holiday region. Using

I have exactly the same problem: korganizer very slow after upgrade to
10.04. Please note that 'top' shows nearly 100% CPU use from korganizer.
