Weird things... I had crashed beep, and apport created the /var/crash
/_usr_bin_beep-media-player.1000.crash file, but now the bomb doesn't
appears.
I log out and then log in, but the bomb is still disappeared.
After the crash, the stat command says:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~ $ stat /var/crash/_usr_bi
OK, that looks just fine. However, it seems that you did not start beep
(and have it crash) before that test. Can you re-do this test with a
freshly crashed beep?

Two additional comments:
1. When I clicked on the bomb, the dialog talked about a crash in
X-Chat, not in beep-media-player.
2. I log out, and then log in GNOME, and now the bomb was gone.

* click on the bomb and wait until you see the crash dialog

Let's first check whether this is a problem with beep crashing at
logout, or a problem with apport itself.
Can you please do:
* Press Ctrl+Alt+F1 and log into the text console
* /usr/share/apport/apport-checkreports; echo $?
-> this should print '1'
* ls -l /var/crash/ > crashes.before.tx
When I click on the "bomb" icon, this dialog appears. No matter what
button I click, the next time I log into GNOME, the bomb appears again!
