Right.
MuseScore supports JACK MIDI, but not the ALSA sequencer. If you're
using MuseScore and want to use its MIDI capabilities, you need to look
into using the JACK audio server, and configure the server to use either
the "raw" or "seq" JACK MIDI routing driver. You will also need to
enable Muse
