So there is no way to really lock a version? The problem is that for
some computers (especially dealing with kernels) a newer version could
crash the whole system (seen this multiple times on mini's which are
becoming more and more popular). The user is forced to use the GUI vs.

Unfortunately this behaviour is as intended: Synaptic and apt-get don't
share the same settings in respect to locking. Hence I will mark this
bug invalid, but thanks a lot for reporting!
