Same issue here on two different systems:
1) Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick):
$ uname -a
Linux [...] 2.6.35-22-generic #35-Ubuntu SMP Sat Oct 16 20:45:36 UTC 2010
x86_64 GNU/Linux
2) Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS (Lucid):
$ uname -a
Linux [...] 2.6.32-25-generic #45-Ubuntu SMP Sat Oct 16 19:48:22 UTC 2010 i686

I am running 10.10, x64, and am experiencing this issue.
It is a critical show-stopper as far as I am concerned. I cannot use the
Remote Desktop feature at all.
Can someone please escalate this bug and do something about resolving
it?
