Onboard modem has no connect on network manager

Hi Martin
I have an onboard broadband modem which I'm trying to use. On the
network manager, there's a mobile broadband tab from which I can add a
mobile broadband connection using the already specified settings from
the provider (MTN, Nigeria). However, I don't see any link or button
that allows
"I can configure the settings manually but there's nothing to initiate
the connection" -- can you please clarify this? What are you trying to
do exactly, what do you see/what happens, and what did you expect to
happen? Please feel free to send screenshots as well.
