I'm a newbee in Linux, and I find Ylmf very useful. But the software-
center doesn't work. I was searching in different foren, but no hint
helped me:
If I start it, it will start (I see it in the taskbar) and then it closes.

Sorry about your problem. To fix it, please open up a Terminal
(Applications>Accessories>Terminal) and type in:
sudo dpkg --configure -a
Then it should ask for your password, please type it in and don't worry
you won't receive any visual feedback.
