klammail will used clamav-daemon if it's installed and running. Please try
that and see if it works around the issue.

I have TMPDIR=/home/walt/tmp, and have noticed that TMPDIR contains lots
of "klammail**" files that should have been deleted once scanning
was complete. Please clean up the files you leave in TMPDIR.
$ lsb_release -rd
Description:Ubuntu 10
