I also have the same problem... and I would propose not to mark this bug
as a dublicate of bug 616217, too, for the above mentioned reasons.

Are you sure this is a duplicate of #616217? This bug is about
installing guest additions inside a Maverick guest, while I think that
bug is about installing virtualbox in a Maverick host.
