Beryl is a separate product from compiz now, so if you are having issues
with beryl, please wait until a new upload is prepared. As for a chroot,
I have no idea. You might try using a live cd and then installing compiz
on that.

Hi Corey,
Do you think that running 'beryl' in a chroot cage would be possible?
(Are there any specific kernel requirements that are only available in
Feisty?)
The problem was on the MiniMac that I use as myworkstation, which I am
a little reticent to upgrade to Feisty just yet.

Feisty (compiz-quinn is now known as beryl), we need to see if your bug
is still present. If you can test the version of compiz in feisty
(1:0.3.3-0ubuntu2~git2006112 or later) and tell us if you bug still
exists, please do. P
