It might have been fixed in 2.30
But the bug seems to be back in 3.6.2
There is no "Leave message on server" option.
Messages are left on the server by default --
no option to *not* leave on server,
or to leave for n days before deleting
Is this bug back, or am I missing something?

After a very painful period I have tested Evolution to check if it deletes
email.
It does, all email is deleted from the server when you press "send/receive"
There is no "Leave message on server" option and it defaults to deleting
email.
Has anyone confirmed my findings?

will try to test this using a spare POP account as soon as I get a
chance.

ok, it's also the case in current evo 2.31 branch and upstream told me
it's not done on purpose, filing an upstream bug.

Indeed, this comes from the evolution express changes.
However, the feature of autosetting that on the user behalf is also
merged now in evolution 2.31. I'm checking with upstream if the option
is still displayed and if they want so before trying to work on revert
this or not.
