After a very painful period I have tested Evolution to check if it deletes email. It does, all email is deleted from the server when you press "send/receive" There is no "Leave message on server" option and it defaults to deleting email. Has anyone confirmed my findings? I really hope that this

Indeed, this comes from the evolution express changes. However, the feature of autosetting that on the user behalf is also merged now in evolution 2.31. I'm checking with upstream if the option is still displayed and if they want so before trying to work on revert this or not. -- Leave Messages
