yes...this problem still occurs in latest updates
using kernel 2.6.35-24-generic
i found that in the latest update for kernel 2.6.34.7 this problem never
occurs...
in changelog it says something with usb auto suspend...

i found that with kernel 2.6.31 it works allways well...

the empty xkbcomp.txt is weird. When I type xkbcomp -xkb :0 - >
xkbcomp.txt I get a file with the full keymap. Did you receive any error
on the terminal after entering the command?
