You can always run the following commands to remove the .save and .distUpgrade files temporarily but they seem to be created again rather quickly. cd /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ sudo rm *.save sudo rm *.distUpgrade If this bug isn't fixed there might be a lot of confusion when people update for the

I removed ( backuped ) all those invalid sources but apt-get autoremove does not remove unneeded packages. As well Synaptic does not show unneeded packages ( automatically installed and without packages depending on them ) even though I know there are removable packages... Is this behaviour relate
