By default, pulseaudio is not installed as part of Kubuntu 10.04. You may have installed pulseaudio inadvertently, or a package pulled in pulseaudio without you knowing it. What happens if you remove the pulseaudio package from your system? affects ubuntu/pulseaudio status incomplete ** Change
