I change the file system of the partition to Ext4 and it work like a
charm.

Well, if you just want rdiff-backup to work the easiest solution by far
is to backup against an ext[234] file system. That way rdiff-backup can
store filenames, etc natively, without having to resort to not-always-
working tricks.

The file system is FAT, but i can change it if it better to use an EXT
When I run the command :
$ rdiff-backup --verify /windows/save/hostname/ :
Fatal Error: Could not get time of current mirror
rdiff-backup --list-increments /windows/save/guillaume
It's a Fat file system, I mount /windows in the fstab with this line :
# /windows was on /dev/sda7 during installation
UUID=7BD0-408F /windowsvfatutf8,umask=007,gid=46 0 1

Just like in bug #610776 I wonder what file system
/windows/save/hostname/ is, and how it is mounted.
Is this the first attempt to backup towards /windows/save/hostname/, or
has there been successful backup runs before?
