Thanks, I had fixed it right away actually, as I was trying to add
another source, but typed it in wrong. I simply forgot I reported a bug
about it, but I would agree with you that it would be nice if Software
Center wouldn't crash in that case. Thanks again.

Actually, I'll keep this open as even though this should be a rare
condition, Software Center ought to handle it gracefully rather than
just crash.

Hi Joshua, thanks for your bug report. It seems that the problem is not
in Software Center itself, but rather there's a bad line in your
/etc/apt/sources.list file per the following from the attached
traceback:
