I work on Slovenian locale. I have translated the upstream gtk+.po (
http://l10n-status.gnome.org/gnome-2.16/PO/gtk+.gtk-2-10.sl.po ) and
when I merged it with gtk20.po (

That doesn't look like a bug to me. How did you merge them. On what
locale do you work? Could you attach the .po to that bug?

I use Edgy Eft. I ran into this when I was merging gtk20.po (taken from
Rosetta - Edgy Eft) with the upstream gtk+.po. As far as I know they
changed this word because of some bug but I am not sure.

Thanks for your bug. What version of Ubuntu do you use? From a build of the
edgy package:
"$ grep "<%s> element has neither" gtk+-2.10.3/po/gtk20.pot
msgid "<%s> element has neither a \"name\" nor an \"id\" attribute""
We don't distro patch GTK strings anyway. It looks like upstream did
wording
