The "Play" button is green but when I click it, it says stopped and the
green arrow is lit again. It is the embedded player that is broken. I can
download and play the file.

Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. When I click the link, rather
than it playing inside of Firefox I automatically get prompted for what
I would like to open the file with (totem by default), which plays the
midi file fine for me. Could you please describe the exact behavior you
