Please be sure to confirm this issue exists with the latest development release
of Ubuntu. ISO CD images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily/current/ . However, note you can only test
Suspend, not Hibernate, when using a LiveCD. If the issue remains, run the

Although some of the settings were indeed set to "false", switching them
to "true" doesn't seem to have helped. Also, this is different from
that bug, as network manager doesn't even start.
Sadly, I am not aware of which package this affects. As I'm not sure
whether it's a problem with the power

This is a bug in Network Manager. I recently experienced it and found the fix
