I'd second Marks comments, without this, it'll always feel like the key-
nav is broken. If mpt agrees with this behaviour, we can move this to
libido as it'll need to be fixed in the entry widget itself.

Didier, I am only guessing here, but does this directly relate to the
me-menu being opened via the mouse, which has the text-entry widget
focused by default? Thus preventing keyboard-navigation to work
thereafter. If that's the case, then changing the default focused widget
in the me-menu should do
