The path taken by Ubuntu (including all variants) development will block
this. The new X's and the work done on universally working automatic
detection and configuration tools will be preferred in any case. They
should also achieve better results :-)

Feisty+1 will have an xorg with very good autodetection (that doesn't
even need a config file) and will hopefully have small graphical tools
to do other things if that's needed.
