For the record, this bug also affects my Dell Optiplex 755 desktop
system when selecting 'hibernate' from the system menu. Although
occasionally hibernate will work fine, more than half of the time I will
be left with a flashing cursor and the computer will not power off as
expected. Manually power

and not the broken kernels (2.6.32-22 and 2.6.32-23)
