The current problem with 64-bit is that since it's new, not all the
kinks have been worked out in the software yet. The same applies with
Microsoft Windows too, not just Linux OS's.

Thank you. Installed, yes, but at what price??!!?! It took just too long and
was too inconvenient. Canonical has to do something to improve this
and the 64 bit version. Is this problem there because Im trying to install the
64 bit version on a Turion CPU?

1. Put the disk in the computer and restart it.
2. If it doesn't run the CD automatically, press a key while it's first turning
on to choose where to boot from, and choose the CD.
