cannot reproduce it on Natty i was facing a similar issue on Maverick

I am also affected, using an Intel integrated video card and Ubuntu
10.10. It happens both with Mozilla Firefox (versions 3.x and 4) and
Chromium. Problems using the Bluetile window manager are solved...

i'm also affected, and disabling compiz works for me too. pausing and
restarting the video does help from time to time.
