/proc is a pseudo filesystem giving access to kernel informations and policykit
is a toolkit to manage administrative policies and privileges.
Without /proc your system won't work we

yes, the system starts from an 8GB SC-Card.
What means 'nothing in /proc...'?
And - what policykit-1 ist doing?
