Since this problem is fixed in maverick and upstream and the package
nsis-2.46-1 is nearly unusable, please backport nsis-2.46-2 to lucid
within a reasonable amount of time.
If there's anything I can help with in preparing the backported package,
please come back to me.
TIA and best regards, Wo
That's would be fine :)

I've just tried to compile and execute the installer with the 2.46-2 version
(no problem to install it). I confirm that the fix works fine on Ubuntu. I

So, will an update be provided for on lucid lynx ?

@sylvain,
Can you please confirm that this bug is fixed in the 2.46-2 after
actually using that version on Ubuntu. It should be possible to install
the package from maverick on lucid machine if the dependencies are not
too tight.
