Mouse cursor dissappears with nouveau

For the record, the stock maverick kernel on the same box would start
showing messages almost immediately, so this patch really does seem to
fix the issue. Whether it's the correct fix (seems reasonable enough to
me, it just leaves a little more space at the top of a buffer) I leave
up to the devel

I should add that when this happens, my computer almost grinds to a
halt. Everything becomes very slow and it feels unresponsive. Moving the
mouse becomes very slow. CPU utilization seems low in top though.
