It has been a while since my last post. I been using the VMWare server
instead of the player; however, someone else I know is still using
vmplayer and it is is working fine.
Thanks,

It's amazing! I tried running vmplayer again this morning and, this it
didn't work (weird!). Here is a portion of the output from the
player.log that may shed some light on what is going on:
Sep 01 09:03:22: vmplayer| Log for VMware Player pid=18320 version=1.0.2
build=build-29634 option=Release
Adding the two libraries, /usr/lib/vmware-player/lib/libdbus-
glib-1.so.2.0.0/libdbus-glib-1.so.2.0.0 and /usr/lib/vmware-player/lib
/libdbus-glib-1.so.2/libdbus-glib-1.so.2 worked. This libraries need to
be added to the distribution.
Thanks,
