That's odd. The segfault can't be quickly's fault, if I've understood
correctly.
How often can you reproduce this error? Is your glade up to date?

Do you have the same thing without -t ubuntu-application flag (assuming you are
in an ubuntu-application project)?
can you try to opens that manually, like:
GLADE_CATALOG_PATH=./data/ui glade-3
