This problem is not specific to ambiance and radiance. Steps to recreate: 1. use gconf-editor to update /apps/metacity/general/button_layout 2. Choose a non-standard setting (I prefer ":minimize,close") 3. From the System menu, open Preferences / Appearance 4. Select any Theme (for example "Ne

First. I do not believe that this bug and #568796 are duplicates. Sorry about the confirmed status change, I thought I had the same thing. But actually I cannot reproduce this bug. Changing the /apps/metacity/general/button_layout setting does indeed change the way my windows look. Is this bug a
