I'm having a similar problem under Ubuntu 10.10 32-bit. Sometimes (but not always), scrolling in Chrome/Gedit/almost anything while playing sound on Rhythmbox/Spotify under Wine/ Flash videos/whatever, results in considerable sound stutter. On a related note, sometime videos playing on Totem have
