I am using Ubuntu 10.04 LTS at this date (20120130).
The package "python-qwt3d-qt4" depends on "libqwtplot3d-qt4", but the name
of this package was changed to "libqwtplot3d-qt4-0".
As there is no "libqwtplot3d-qt4" available, I can't install "python-
qwt3d-qt4".
I can try to make a fake a pac
These dependencies are broken on 10.04 ,10.10 and 11.10. Only 11.04 is
free of this problem.
Is there some guide how to fix dependencies on ubuntu?

Besides being broken in Karmic AND Lucid, this package is in conflict
with python-qwt5-qt4 and python-sip4 (qwt3d is often used together with
qwt, and this is a real showstopper).
