Hi,
I'm bonfire (now called brasero in the next release) author.
Sarah, you seem to have nautilus-cd-burner 2.15 libraries. They are
backward incompatible unfortunately. But nautilus-cd-burner 2.14 should
work fine with bonfire/brasero.
What is nautilus-cd-burner version in ubuntu?

Sarah: there is libnautilus-burn3-dev and burn4-dev (exact package names
may differ). It looks like this package needs to be fixed to work with
the latest.

OK, not certain what your problem was with building. I'll freely admit
that I'm a Gentoo expat, so I almost certainly didn't do this The Ubuntu
Way... but it built fine on my system.
I used the source files available here:

Unfortunately, the debian source is failing to build on ubuntu.
Hopefully this will get fixed at some point.

No idea why they rejected. Ubuntu doesn't typically use packages only
from Debian Stable, so the presence of Bonfire in both Debian Testing
and Unstable means that it should AFAIK also be present in Ubuntu.
I think it looks like a good package. Haven't used it yet, but I'm
planning to try it the
Ok, but why 'rejecting'. I would say it is a 'wish' (-> Wishlist).

Bonfire 1.4.1 is available in Debian testing and unstable. The source
package for what Debian calls 1.4.1 appears to be Bonfire 0.4.1.

I hope we'll see it in Edgy. I'm now using an unofficial Ubuntu build on
Dapper (so I seems to be possible to make a *.deb of bonfire).
> 1.3.9 and 1.4.1
The latest verion of bonfire is 0.4.1.

both 1.3.9 and 1.4.1 fail to build on edgy (with the same error).
When debian makes this build, it will get autosynced across.
