I have done a clean build with Lucid, now that the kernel in question is
in main and I upgraded to it the problem did not occur again. I am sure
this was some idiosyncrasy on my end and this bug may be the same as the
nvidia one and should not be worried about
** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu)
I get the same backtrace if I try to run the driver installer from
nvidia's website with upstream kernel and upstream kernel source to
build the module with when it trys to load it. This may not be a bug in
the new kernel like I thought.
