is no longer supported so I'm going to close the bug.

I use a simple Perl script which filters certain messages from IRC and
it stopped working with the upgrade to Lucid. It appears to work fine if
I upgrade to the PPA with version 2.7.1. Also applying just the patch
from revision 67de3fff to version 2.6.6 seems to work too. It makes
