Well, obviously something can and should be done. Look at how those
buttons look in Karmic with the default theme (see the new screenshot).

I'm pretty certain there isn't anything that can be done here as
OpenOffice.org is not GTK based and only attempts to emulate it enough
for themeing to work in general. If you look closely at the buttons for
example you will see they are buttons are rounded internally but that
the extra squared off
This happens in Lucid RC.
