The processor has a high load during the daily updates of Ubuntu that
is, with a large number of small packages. Looks like bug 537241 is my

that's probably because of bug 537241 and introduction of fsyncs in dpkg to
prevent data corruption.
Do you see this high cpu load rather with packages containing many small files
or few large ones ?

Maybe it's not a bug in the usual sense, but one of the most annoying
things. Even the modern computer has lags during the installation of
packages. I wonder how many people have the same behavior as I am.
I forgot to say that CPU load is to high because of iowait.

This does not sound unusual, installing packages is a operation that
requires some memory/io/cpu time. Why do you consider it a bug? Did it
increase ?
