FYI: I found out what was wrong - the installer had commented-out the a
line in apt sources.list "because it failed to verify"...

Sorry, my problem probably has nothing to do with webalizer, so please
just drop this bug-report.
On my system the install fails - aptitude claims that it cannot install
webalizer because libdb2.4 isn't available, but I have similar problems
installing tomcat5, so again, I guess I need to look els
What do you mean? libdb4.2 is available through apt as is webalizer?

It seems to install perfectly fine for me, though I'm not running a
webserver so I can't be sure it runs.
