I have to say that New Wave is a theme that is almost 2 years old
(version 0.3 is the first public one [1]) and Radiance is based on parts
of it and parts of dust. My design vision is that the panel should be
darker then the rest (or the window's top (menubar+titlebar) should be
lighter than the pa
Well, speaking solely as a user, my thought when seeing this was not,
"Ooh, usable!" but, "Looks like they forgot to change the defaults on
the panel color." Only when I looked more carefully did I find that the
colors changed slightly from Radiance (Lucid's default) but didn't match
the window co
This color is by design. It is dictated by usability reasons and would not be
changed in the default theme. You could use the New Wave Configurator to change
the panel theme if you want a greater difference:
