To clarify the behaviour: I can confirm just error. Other problems (not
booting, fschk hangs,..) seem unrelated.
I get a blinking cursor for about 10 seconds, then I see the "error
probing smb2" for 2 seconds
I confirm this on my ASRock ION 330 (which features some nVidia 9400
chipset.

yeah I am getting the exact same thing and it has been going on since beta1
, however ,, this is a beta 1 that continually gets updated..so I am not sure
if that is the issue or not...but thought I would comment anyway
