Sorry if I was hasty with that, I reverted it. In Bug 489830 the settings are still shown in gpointing, they just are inconsistently/non- persistently applied. Could you ever apply gpointing's settings in Lucid, or did it stop working as soon as you upgraded from Karmic? Do you have trackpad scroll
