Vincenzo, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release

Comment 14 could be the result of the same patch that has now made it's
way into kernel 2.6.33.6. From the changelog:

I also have this problem on Fedora 13 (kernel 2.6.33). I have put the
kernel 2.6.34 on Fedora 13 (taken by the repository of Fedora 14) and I
don't have this problem anymore. Now, I can set the resolution of
1024x768 + 85 hz.
Also with OpenSuse 11.3 (kernel 2.6.34 rc8) I don't have problems.
