After applying the patch in the upstream bug report, rhythmbox no longer
crashes for me.

could give a try to the patch?

I renamed my rhythmdb.xml and re-imported all of the same music, and
rhythmbox doesn't crash anymore. I'm attaching the old rhythmdb.xml for
testing
