That is the reason they need to be separate bug reports. I missed those
completely, since they were added in a comment. You can use 'xserver-
xorg-input-synaptics' for the package for touchpad issues.

Please file one bug / issue per bug report. When you file the new
reports using 'ubuntu-bug PKGNAME', a new report will be created for the
issue involving PKGNAME, which is the package affected by the bug.
PKGNAME for your issues could be:

I'm running the original config .. no upgrades on my hardware -- which
means i'm using 256 MB RAM, it's almost unusable.
Here is how I got full 1024x768 in ubuntu 9.10 on my sony vaio pcg-r505

I added both of these boot options to the "linux" line of the boot config
