Below is the error message that I get on the Windows XP server when I print
from my Ubuntu box

again, my printer is not working after a update on cupsys - updated to
cupsys 1.2.2-0ubuntu0.6.06 - printer canon bjc 4300 prints only a few
lines then stops the output - same occurs using canon bjc 4200 driver

The same problem arose since an upgrade of the cupsys package - smb is not
present.
Printer - Canon bjc 4300
OS - ubuntu 6.06
cupsys v 1.2.1-0ubuntu2
printing icon displayed, but no output from the printer.
changing printer model to canon bjc 4200 (shares same driver with canon bjc
4300 ) is a w
